Welcome Aboard!

Welcome aboard the PAST Foundation's 2007
Florida Keys Underwater Field School. This year, the crew is focusing on
the wreck of the coastal steamer Tonawanda, which grounded on
the Elbow, a reef near present-day Key Largo, in March 1866. During the Civil War, Tonawanda
served in the Union Navy as U.S.S. Arkansas, a supply ship
operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
