Today we had a well deserved day off
before returning to the site. Some of the crew chose to go
diving, visiting the
Spiegel Grove artificial reef site and Molasses Reef
to see the Slobodna wreck which was the subject of the
2005
and 2006
PAST field schools. We saw many interesting fish, corals,
and shipwrecks. Others chose to stay home for a day of
relaxation and, most importantly, sleep! After dinner, Dr. Sheli
gave a very interesting lecture on ship construction. Back to
work tomorrow!
