Mike Bradley
Fort Gibson, Oklahoma
Mike Bradley is an OHS staff member from Fort Gibson Historic Site.
Bradley is a long-time historical reenactor, and with his wife operates
a successful business reproducing historic uniforms and clothing.

Long Beach, California
Bill Breece is a professor at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa,
California. |

Laurel H. Breece
Long Beach, California
Laurel Breece is a professor at Long Beach City College. Dr. Breece has
extensive experience in both terrestrial and underwater archaeology.
Along with Dr. Corbin, she led one of the two field school teams
documenting the wreck. |

Cecilia Brothers
Lakewood, California
Ceci Brothers is a second-year student at Long Beach City College.
Brothers has completed a field school in terrestrial archaeology, and
worked as a volunteer on the assessment team at Refugio Beach State
Park. |

Lakewood, California
Christine Chan is a junior majoring in anthropology and visual arts at
the University of California - San Diego. She recently graduated from
Long Beach City College. |

Annalies Corbin
Columbus, Ohio
Annalies Corbin, executive director of the PAST Foundation, served as
director of the field school and as archaeological field director for
the Red River Wreck Project. She also led one of the two field school
teams investigating the wreck. Dr. Corbin recently joined the maritime
studies faculty at East Carolina University. |

Fort Towson, Oklahoma
John Davis, an Oklahoma Historical Society staff member at Fort Towson
Historic Site, is an avid outdoorsman and diver. Davis was part of the
team that first investigated the Resd River Wreck in 1999.

Andy Hall is a historic researcher with a particular interest in
steamboats. |

Howard McKinnis
Checotah, Oklahoma
Howard McKinnis of the Oklahoma Historical Society is a long-time
history buff and reenactor. McKinnis holds advanced diver certification. |

Seal Beach, California
Lucius Martin is a junior in anthropology at the University of
California - Los Angeles and a recent graduate of Long Beach City
College. Martin has a particular interest in the history and archaeology
of the Caribbean and southeastern United States. |

Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Bob Piper is an experienced volunteer on archaeological projects, having
worked on historic and prehistoric sites in Colorado, New York and
Missouri. |

Cynthia Schantz
Long Beach, California
Cyd Schantz is a student in California State University - Long Beach in
anthropology and archaeology. She recently completed fieldwork in
medical anthropology in Ecuador, and has also worked on cultural
resource management projects in California. Schantz' particular interest
in underwater archaeology is in prehistoric sites and underwater
photography. |

Daniel Seib
Bloomington, Indiana
Daniel Seib is a graduate student working on his masters degree at
Indiana University Bloomington. Seib holds certifications as an advanced
open water and rescue diver, and is currently working on obtaining
certification in underwater resource management. |

William Tecumseh Sherman
Checotah, Oklahoma
Sherman travels with his owner, Howard McKinnis. Sherman got his name
when he was a puppy and he did to McKinnis' house what General Sherman
did to Georgia. |

Sheli Smith
Napa Valley, California
Smith, who describes her previous nautical archaeology experience as
"way too much," is former director of the Los Angeles Maritime Museum.
Dr. Smith served as the field school facilitator, overseeing the
logistical arrangements of the project, and served as dive safety
officer on site. |

Brandon Talley
Valliant, Oklahoma
Brandon Talley (not related to Rick) is a junior in biology at
Southeastern Oklahoma State University. |

Rick Talley
Littleton, Colorado
Rick Talley (not related to Brandon) is a recent graduate of the
University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington. Talley's previous
archaeological experience includes fieldwork in Israel. |

Marlo Thomas
Long Beach, California
Marlo Thomas is a second-year student in anthropology and archaeology at
Long Beach City College. Thomas hopes to pursue a career in underwater
archaeology, with a special focus on work in the Middle East and the
Arab Gulf. |

Scott M. Whitesides
Greenville, North Carolina
Scott Whitesides is a graduate student at East Carolina University. His
work as an archaeologist over the last ten years has encompassed both
prehistoric and historic sites. Whitesides also has extensive experience
in boatbuilding, which contributes to his work on the Red River Wreck. |
