Mike Bradley is an OHS staff member from Fort Gibson Historic Site. Bradley is a long-time historical reenactor, and with his wife operates a successful business reproducing historic uniforms and clothing.

Bill Breece is a professor at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California.

Laurel Breece is a professor at Long Beach City College. Dr. Breece has extensive experience in both terrestrial and underwater archaeology. Along with Dr. Corbin, she led one of the two field school teams documenting the wreck.

Annalies Corbin, executive director of the PAST Foundation, served as director of the field school and as archaeological field director for the Red River Wreck Project. She also led one of the two field school teams investigating the wreck. Dr. Corbin recently joined the maritime studies faculty at East Carolina University.

John Davis, an Oklahoma Historical Society staff member at Fort Towson Historic Site, is an avid outdoorsman and diver. Davis was part of the team that first investigated the Resd River Wreck in 1999.

Lucius Martin is a junior in anthropology at the University of California - Los Angeles and a recent graduate of Long Beach City College. Martin has a particular interest in the history and archaeology of the Caribbean and southeastern United States.

Cyd Schantz is a student in California State University - Long Beach in anthropology and archaeology. She recently completed fieldwork in medical anthropology in Ecuador, and has also worked on cultural resource management projects in California. Schantz' particular interest in underwater archaeology is in prehistoric sites and underwater photography.

Sherman travels with his owner, Howard McKinnis. Sherman got his name when he was a puppy and he did to McKinnis' house what General Sherman did to Georgia.

Smith, who describes her previous nautical archaeology experience as "way too much," is former director of the Los Angeles Maritime Museum. Dr. Smith served as the field school facilitator, overseeing the logistical arrangements of the project, and served as dive safety officer on site.
