Daily Field Updates
October 6-10, 2003
The U-166 Project team is currently in the Gulf of
Mexico at the U-166 site, conducting a complete survey of the wreck as well
as additional scientific experiments. This field project, undertaken by a
joint team of researchers from C&C
Technologies, the PAST
Foundation and the U.S. Minerals
Management Service, is sponsored by NOAA's Office
of Ocean Exploration. Beginning late Monday, October 6 and continuing
through the week, we will post daily updates of the project's fieldwork.
