Day 1
Monday, August 20, 2001

It’s Monday 20th. Today we did some transects I believe. I found goggles are pretty ineffective and the buckets are great. I also found that feeling the bottom is a pretty effective way to find stuff. The closest bank has lots more artifacts than the far bank. When we got back to camp we goofed around for a bit, then had a great meal.

Day 2
Tuesday, August 21, 2001

My guess is today is Tuesday. We did another set six transects and I only used my hands. I found quite a bit of stuff. After we got done at the site we went for showers at Old Faithful. After the relaxing shower we watched the geysers go off. It was pretty awesome.

Day 3
Wensday, August 22, 2001

Wensday is spelled wrong but you get the idea. Today instead of working at the site we went to the Obsidian Cliffs. It was an awesome hike. We jumped from fallen tree to fallen tree, and went about 4.5 miles. Some of the obsidian was so perfect it seemed unreal. Well after that we went and took showers and watched Old Faithful again.

Day 4
Thursday, August 23, 2001

Thursday is spelled right. We worked the site [and] did 6-8 transects. After that most people went to the canyon or to take showers. I just chilled at camp and finished my book. Also M. J. turned out to have a fractured clavicle. That sucked.

Day 5
Friday, August 24, 2001

Today was the last day of work. We finished [all] of the transects. Kyle and Janelle were the only two to find new complete bottles. I found a piece of metal that was neatly _________. After we cleaned up we all went and showered. Tomorrow we leave so we all packed. We also ate STEAK mmmmmmmmmmsteak that was yummy.
