Over four weeks in June, students and teachers are invited to participate in a dynamic, rapid paced course that covers three areas of additive manufacturing – CAD, 3D Printing and Assembly. The immersive program prepares students for college pathways in Additive Manufacturing, while providing teachers with professional development for bringing effective and engaging coursework back to school. The Summer Institute also preps students and teachers to earn industry recognized certification.
Through a National Science Foundation ATE grant Columbus State Community College, PAST Foundation and The Ohio State University, in collaboration with industry and educational partners, are developing an intensive summer program and through this support are able to offer student scholarships and teacher fellowships. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to be better prepared for college and career or better prepared to teach additive manufacturing.
