About This Event

During this one-week morning course you will cover the basics of robotics and sensors at Mezzacello 21st Century Farm. Topics covered will include:

  • Intro to scratch and the basics of coding.
  • Build a robot from scratch and deploy it on a task.
  • Reverse engineer a device and document its function and features.
  • Design challenges to build props and tools used on an urban farm.

This week-long 1/2 day program will culminate with an in person demonstration of learning for family and friends, as well as a recording for later viewing.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:

Waterproof and sterilizable shoes will be a requirement for this camp. If these are not available, a pair can be provided for a nominal extra fee.

Experience with robots and code is a plus, but NOT mandated.
