Students in Grades 5-8
Learn and apply the design process to basic electronics and programming while building an IoT (Internet of Things) enabled device. Participants will design, build and program an Arduino-based IoT device to solve a real problem. The weeklong program culminates in a demonstration of the working device, open to the public. What will you create? Will your device feed your dog while you are on vacation? Will it control the lights in your home? The possibilities end only with your imagination.
This one-week program runs from 9am to 4pm on July 29th – August 2nd and is open to rising 5th-8th Graders, ages 10-14. Please note: Lunch will not be provided so please plan on packing lunch each day.
You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information.
