Students in Grades 5-8
Assistive devices can be found all around us from prostheses to specialized computer software. The need for these devices if constantly growing and changing. During this week-long half day camp students will interview a community member about a need they have in their day to day life. Using the information that they gather students will design and build an assistive device that fills this need.
This one week program runs from 1pm-4pm on June 10th-14th and is open to rising 5th-8th Graders, ages 11-14
You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information.
