Shaesta Waiz showed that dreams are built on wings. Be fully immersed in the Mission Control experience as you prepare to “fly” Shaesta Waiz’s historic flight by learning about the science of flight as well as experience her around the world, solo, flight path that Waiz pioneered. Students will be“piloting” a flight simulator of a replica of her aircraft and work in teams to create a flight plan for their own journey around the world.
This one week program runs from 9am-4pm on June 8th-12th and is open to rising 6th-8th Graders, ages 11-14.
Please note: Lunch will not be provided so please plan on packing lunch each day.
You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information.
