Students in Grades 10th-12th
Community gardens are locations that are gardened collectively by a group of people. During this one week summer institute students will create a plan for a community garden that will include recipes that complement the food being grown. Students will design, create and share their recipes with community members.
This one week program runs from 9am-4pm, on June 15th-19th and is open to rising 10th-12th Graders, ages 16-18.
Please note: Lunch will not be provided so please plan on packing lunch each day.
You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information.
