Students in Grades 3rd-5th

Combine the design process and Computer Aided Design (CAD) with 3D printing to develop unique solutions to real-life challenges. Participants will learn to use CAD software and 3D printers as they design their product or creation. At the end of the week students will present about the solution, and take home their 3D printed creation.

This one week virtual program runs from 1pm-4pm on July 27th-31st and is open to rising 3rd-5th Graders, ages 8-11.

Our virtual programs will include the following:
– 2 hours per day of direct instruction (1pm-3pm)
– Full class instruction
– Break out room instruction
– 1 hour per day of independent project development (3pm-4pm)
– Independent off screen time
– Instructor help will be available during this time
-Friday Presentations
– Parents, families and friends are invited to join the final presentations of what students have created during the week.
Tech Needs for Program:
– Computer (Mac or Windows PC)
– Access to On Shape online
– Internet Access with access to virtual platform
– Webcam
