Hands On Engineering

Investigate mechanical and electrical engineering concepts through exploring and assembling a NeuroMaker Hand. Students will also step into the roll of biomedical engineer to design and build an innovative prototype tool that can assist the prosthetic hand in carrying out everyday tasks. Students will grow skills in collaboration, coding, problem-solving, critical thinking and more.

At the end of the week students will share the NeuroMaker Hands, and the prototypes they created.

This one-week program runs from 9am-4pm on July 11th-17th and is open to rising 5th-8th Graders, ages 10-14. Please note: Lunch will not be provided so please plan on packing lunch each day.

You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information.
