During this two week program students will apply engineering design to innovate agricultural practices. Perseverance has landed on Mars and will drill for core samples of Martian rocks and soil. Students will draw inspiration from this mission to answer the question, “How can we grow food in a contained environment?” Students will be introduced to engineering practices, design thinking and careers in food, agricultural and environmental sciences. Students will build off the FarmBot platform as they develop their innovative solutions to the challenges presented.
