Join us at The Lawn at CAS for this one week outdoor photography camp! Throughout this week long introductory course, students will learn about the foundations of photography, composition, color theory, and photo editing! Students can use mobile phones, tablets, and/or digital cameras to take photos, practice editing, and discuss techniques. At the end of the week, students will choose their favorite photograph to be printed and taken home, they’ll also learn about and delve into a historic photo process called the cyanotype!
Equipment needed: A phone/tablet/digital camera to take photos on, a device for editing photos (should the student choose to edit), a USB thumb drive or access to Google Drive to share photos

This one-week program runs from 9am-12pm on July 19th-July 23rd and is open to rising 5th-8th Graders, ages 10-14. This program is being held outdoors at CAS, so students will need to be dropped off at and picked up from this location each day.
CAS is located at 2540 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202.
You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information.
