Water Ways

Join us at The Lawn at CAS as we explore on the banks of the Olentangy River. Students will learn about erosion and how waterways are formed. Students will discover types of macro-invertebrates that live in the Olentangy River and how their presence predicts water quality. Throughout the week, students will observe different types of animals that live in the riparian zone (area of land next to water) and how plants and animals thrive along the riverbank.

This one-week outdoor program runs from 1pm-4pm on June 28th – July 2nd and is open to rising 5th-8th Graders, ages 10-14. This program is being held outdoors at CASso students will need to be dropped off at and picked up from this location each day.

CAS is located at 2540 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202.
