August Majtenyi joined PAST in 2022 as a member of the PAST Research team. Previously, August was working as a Design Research Intern at Smart Columbus. There he spent the majority of his time collecting data and creating reports for the Franklin County Digital Equity Coalition. He also spent some time as an undergraduate working for the College of Engineering Education with the inclusive Community-Based Learning Lab at OSU. This research lab focuses on establishing partnerships that will promote social justice and broaden participation in engineering and STEM.

In 2021, August received his B.S. from the Ohio State University in Industrial Design and has minors in Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. In his free time, he loves tackling logic puzzles and creating games.
