About this Program
During "Nature Navigators: Cultivating Budding Naturalists," is a dynamic summer program designed to ignite the spirit of exploration in young nature enthusiasts. Set against the backdrop of The Lawn at CAS, this immersive experience offers a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and hands-on discovery. Program Highlights: 1. Nature Walks and Exploration: Students will venture into the wonders of The Lawn at CAS with guided nature walks. Participants will develop keen observation skills, identify native flora and fauna, and learn to appreciate the intricate beauty of the natural world. 2. Hands-On Field Studies: Budding naturalists will delve into the intricacies of insects, plants, and wildlife, fostering a sense of curiosity and discovery equipped with magnifying glasses and field guides. 3. Nature Journaling: Through sketches, observations, and reflections, participants will chronicle their experiences and deepen their connection to the environment. 4. Ecology and Ecosystems: Exploring the delicate balance of ecosystems through engaging discussions and interactive activities, participants will gain insights into the interconnected web of life and the importance of environmental conservation. 5. Botanical and Wildlife Identification: Honing their skills in identifying common plants and wildlife, participants will sharpen their naturalist expertise, enhancing their ability to navigate and understand the diversity of the natural world. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to email@example.com or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
