About this Program

Participants will embark on a journey that combines the captivating realm of Minecraft with the principles of manufacturing and design thinking. With hands-on activities, collaborative challenges, and guided projects, students will develop essential skills while having a blast. Program Highlights: 1. Minecraft Engineering: Participants will explore the virtual landscapes of Minecraft and discover the fundamentals of engineering. From constructing intricate structures to designing ingenious machines, and applying engineering principles in a fun and interactive way. 2. Design Thinking: Learn the art of design thinking by tackling real-world problems within the Minecraft universe. Develop problem-solving skills and create solutions that combine innovation with practicality. 3. Resource Management: Delve into the concept of resource management and sustainable practices in both Minecraft and the real world. Discover how smart decisions and planning can lead to efficient manufacturing and a healthier environment. 4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow Minecraft enthusiasts on exciting team projects. Build, create, and problem-solve together while honing communication and teamwork abilities. 5. Creative Manufacturing: Turn virtual designs into reality through imaginative manufacturing techniques. Explore crafting, automation, and more as you bring ideas to life within the game. 6. Showcase and Celebration: At the end of the program, celebrate all the participant's achievements with a showcase event displaying all the Minecraft creations and share the design process with friends and family. Please Note: Students will be using Minecraft Java & Bedrock Edition. Logins will be provided by PAST during programming along with all other components to participate. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
