About this Program

Join a thrilling outdoor adventure on The Lawn at CAS with "GeoSeekers: Geocaching Quest," an experience designed to ignite the spirit of exploration and treasure hunting in participants. This summer quest combines the excitement of geocaching with the joy of outdoor discovery. Program Highlights: 1. Geocaching Expedition: Dive into the world of geocaching as participants learn the art of using GPS devices and deciphering coordinates to uncover hidden treasures. 2. Treasure Hunt Challenges: Engage in exciting treasure hunt challenges that test problem-solving skills, teamwork, and creativity. Participants will tackle a series of geocaching challenges, each leading them one step closer to the ultimate hidden treasure. 3. Geocaching Techniques: Learn the tricks of the trade from experienced geocachers. From effective cache-hunting strategies to geocaching etiquette, participants will gain essential skills for successful and responsible treasure hunting. 4. Navigation Skills: Sharpen navigation skills using GPS devices and maps. Participants will develop a keen sense of direction, learn to read coordinates and enhance their outdoor navigation abilities. 5. GeoQuest Finale: Celebrate the participants geocaching achievements, share stories of their discoveries, and receive certificates of completion for a successful quest. PLEASE NOTE: June 19th programming will be held at the PAST Innovation Lab (1003 Kinnear Road), due to the CAS property being closed to observe Juneteenth. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
