About the School
Marysville STEM Early College High School, located in Marysville, Ohio, is a suburban public school serving students in grades 9 through 12. Marysville STEM Early College High School believes that STEM is a pedagogy and mindset as much as it is a content descriptor.
At MSECHS, students connect with local businesses and community organizations to plan, develop, and test new ideas. Marysville STEM has reimagined the high school experience by creating a Learner-Centered Ecosystem that bridges the gap between education and industry. MSECHS partners with local STEM employers to create authentic learning experiences that prepare students for the real world. The approach involves creating Learning Hubs focused on different STEM pathways and connecting these with Field Sites at local businesses. The school itself features flexible, reconfigurable spaces, natural daylight, glass walls for transparency, and state-of-the-art technology. This innovative environment fosters adaptability in teaching and learning, promoting connectivity between students, educators, and the community. The school also serves as a resource for the broader community.
