Powered by PAST and in partnership with Battelle, our Portable Innovation Labs (PIL) are designed to facilitate unique educational opportunities by providing teachers and students with the resources that schools may not be able to purchase on their own.

Diverse Lab Experiences

We have over 20 labs available to lend to educators. We have three versions of our labs: labs that include equipment, materials, and curricula, labs that are just equipment, and a few that are equipment and materials. Our labs cover a vast number of subjects and topics! Anyone can use the labs and adapt them to almost any subject!

Nurturing STEM Identity

Our labs are designed to nurture each students’ STEM Identity and is a necessary step for students to see themselves in fields of science. It is our ultimate hope that each student is able to nurture their STEM identity while participating in our labs.

No Cost Learning

Our labs are free so that more educators can take advantage of STEM activities with their students. Our labs are able to be borrowed for 2–3 weeks to allow educators to work the labs into their curricula. We want students to experience the best science has to offer and expand their horizons.
