About this Program

Embark on a creative journey with "Digital Designers: CAD & 3D Printing Exploration," a summer experience that invites young minds to dive into the exciting realms of computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D printing. Discover the power of turning digital imagination into tangible reality as participants engage in hands-on activities, design challenges, and collaborative projects. Program Highlights: 1. Introduction to CAD: Delve into the fundamentals of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), where participants will learn to create digital models and unleash their creativity in the virtual world. 2. Hands-On 3D Printing: Experience the magic of 3D printing as digital designs come to life. Witness the process of transforming imaginative concepts into physical objects using 3D printing technology. 3. Design Challenges: Engage in exciting design challenges that will test the participant's newfound CAD skills. From creating personalized keychains to building mini-structures, participants will hone their design thinking and problem-solving abilities. 4. Collaborative Projects: Foster teamwork and collaboration by working on group projects that encourage the exchange of ideas and collective creativity. Learn to combine individual strengths for impressive collaborative outcomes. 5. Innovation Showcase: Conclude the program with an innovation showcase where participants proudly display their 3D printed creations. Share the design journey with peers, instructors, and family members, celebrating the accomplishments of a summer filled with digital design exploration. PLEASE NOTE: Lunch will not be provided so please plan on packing lunch each day. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
