PAST Innovation Lab designs and develops innovative, meaningful and culturally relevant programs and practices to engage students. We have collaborated with educators, businesses and industry nationwide to create innovative strategies designed to give real meaning to educational content.
Immersive summer programs give students an opportunity to apply education in real world settings. Over an extended period of time, usually one week, expert directors take students on adventures to learn in multiple settings about a variety of content areas. These adventures help students develop the soft skills that business and industry desire, such as problem-solving, collaboration, communication and critical thinking. We guarantee that students will complete these programs better prepared for their futures!
Want your students to participate in active STEM programming that provides real world experiences in a fun and innovative way? Have your kiddos become an Innovator and experience robotics, horticulture, drones, architecture, entrepreneurship, art and more! The result? Applying knowledge by linking learning to life! Oh yes, and did we mention fun?
Design Challenges are intended to grab both student and teacher interests and passions. They are designed to model how rigorous content can be blended with student engagement, challenging the view that learning can’t or shouldn’t be fun! Design Challenges are transdisciplinary, allowing students of all learning modalities to demonstrate their understanding of concepts tied directly to educational standards that are traditionally taught in the classroom.
