Students Grades 5-8

Apply the design process and the basics of programming and mechanical design while building a mechanism to solve a specific challenge. Students will use the Arduino microprocessor and sensors to control motors to complete a series of tasks ranging from simple movement to more complex tasks. The week-long program culminates in a demonstration of the working robots, open to the public. What will you teach it to do? The possibilities end only with your imagination.

This one-week program runs from 9am to 4pm on July 16th-20th and is open to rising 5th – 8th Graders, ages 10-14. Lunch will not be provided so please plan on packing lunch each day.
