PAST Foundation invites you to join us for our third annual STEM of Spirits Fundraiser November 2, 7PM-10PM
At The PAST Foundation we link learning to life and make learning fun through Innovation! We are drawing on our history of Innovation and Collaboration for this year’s STEM of Spirits fundraising event on November 2nd at the PAST Innovation Lab.
In addition to featuring the best food and drink from local vendors, we want you to play with your food! The PAST Foundation Innovation Lab will transform into a space where party goers can dive into the science and chemistry of beer, wine, food and other tasty tidbits, integrated with the tech our students and teachers use each day (drones, robotics, and 3D printing among others) to push the boundaries of what is possible.
This is an adult only event, including food, beverage and activities designed in collaboration with local chefs, brewers, distillers and vintners that will allow us to experience the STEM in what we eat and drink!
Tickets are now on sale and sales are limited. Join us for a fun and STEM filled evening and help to provide lasting experiences for the students in our community.
Our camps ignite passion and curiosity and have the potential to change lives. With support from our community, we can reach even more students!
In 2019, 85% of students who attended PAST programming received a partial or full scholarship thanks to generous partners and donors at our 2018 STEM and Sprits event.
In 2020, we want 100% of our students who apply to participate in our camps/programs to be able to do so regardless of their financial circumstances. To meet our goal we need to raise $100,000.
Our goal for STEM of Spirits is to partner with Columbus’s most innovative distillers, brewers, and taste makers to show how STEM and Workforce Development are involved with creating distinctive products and careers unique to Columbus. We are also looking to partner with Columbus chefs and business owners to create recipes/products using those products to further showcase the spirit of collaboration in the Columbus Culinary scene.
We need your sponsorship to ensure success. We would love to talk with you and your team about how you can help support students in Columbus who need the 21st century skills that PAST can help them learn.
