PAST Innovation Fab Lab

Welcome to our state-of-the-art Fab Lab, a dynamic space designed to turn big ideas into tangible realities. The PAST Foundation is proud to announce that it has been designated as one of only a select few US nodes in the MIT Fab Lab Network to host the highly acclaimed global Fab Academy. This added resource will help PAST continue to teach the importance of STEM by helping students, educators, and community members experience it first-hand.

Nikki Stancampiano

Nikki is enthusiastic about cultural exchange and initiating sustainable change. As the Workforce Development Coordinator at PAST, she aims to use her diverse background to address educational and workplace disparities.

Kelleigh Huey

Kelleigh Huey is a Student Experience Instructor at the PAST Foundation and known as the Academic Alchemist! Her combined love of kids and learning led her to the PAST Foundation, where she sought to make a difference in STEM education.

Andrew Bruening, Ph.D.

Dr. Andrew Bruening is the Program Innovations Officer at PAST and leads the Maker/Fab Lab at PAST in Columbus, Ohio. Andrew has been working in our Fab/Maker Space for more than 10 years.

This section of our Fab Lab is equipped with large-scale, industrial-grade machinery capable of handling a variety of materials and projects. Here, you'll find:

Community and Education

Our Fab Lab is more than just a collection of tools and machinery; it's a community hub for makers, educators, students, and entrepreneurs. We offer workshops, training sessions, and open lab hours to help users of all skill levels learn new technologies and bring their projects to life. Safety and proper use of equipment are our top priorities, and all users are required to complete mandatory safety training before accessing the facilities.
