Jocelyn Browning

STEM Coordinator

(Insightful Innovator)

Jocelyn is the STEM coordinator for the PAST Foundation. Prior to joining the PAST Tribe, Jocelyn served as an Assistant Principal of a middle school in Southwest Philadelphia. During this time she developed a passion for supporting teachers and staff as they worked with students who had various learning and social emotional needs. Jocelyn is dedicated to creating equitable experiences and outcomes for all students.


Jocelyn has a background as a special education teacher and has taught in Chicago and Columbus. As a teacher she focused on providing inclusive learning spaces for students with disabilities. Jocelyn has a Master’s of Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s of Arts from The Ohio State University. She graduated from the PhillyPLUS residency, a two year principal preparation program. She is also a proud member of Metro Early College High School’s first graduating class.


Outside of work Jocelyn enjoys listening to books on Libby, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. She is currently working on running a half marathon in every state- only 42 more!
