Autumn Hart

Autumn Hart joined the PAST team as a STEM Coordinator in the summer of 2026. She is excited to help link learning to life by connecting students and educators with resources that enhance their STEM learning experiences.

In 2021, she graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer and Information Science and a minor in Game Studies. While completing her bachelor’s degree, she worked as an instructor for an extracurricular program that taught kids about programming by creating their own video games. This experience sparked Autumn’s passion for teaching and helped her decide to pursue a career in education.

Autumn has since spent three years as a Career-Technical Information Technology teacher at a STEAM-certified high school, teaching Intro to IT, Programming, Game Design, and Object-Oriented Programming to 9th and 10th graders. This role led her to pursue a Master of Education in Curriculum & Teaching from Bowling Green State University, which she earned in August 2026.

As an educator, Autumn is passionate about utilizing competency-based education to align academic experiences with the demands of careers and everyday life. She also values using educational games and other fun experiences to build student interest and engagement in learning.

Outside of work, Autumn is a fan of tabletop games, video games, and several crafting hobbies including crochet and creating cosplays. She especially enjoys medieval fantasy content, from watching The Lord of the Rings movies to playing Dungeons & Dragons, and cozy games like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and Animal Crossing.
