About this Program
Embarking on a thrilling journey of creativity, engineering, and innovation, students participating in "Bricks in Motion: LEGO Robotics," will combine the excitement of LEGO with the power of robotics. Participants will design, build, and program their own robotic creations using a LEGO EV3 Robot. Program Highlights: 1. LEGO Robotics Basics: Participants will dive into the fundamentals of LEGO robotics, exploring the mechanics of motors, sensors, and programmable bricks. Participants will learn how to integrate these elements to bring their LEGO creations to life. 2. Programming with LEGO EV3: Learning the basics of programming using LEGO EV3, a powerful platform that introduces participants to coding in a user-friendly environment, students will dive into the world of drag-and-drop programming to command their LEGO creations. 3. Robot Challenges: Participants will engage in exciting robot challenges that test the limits of their creations. From navigating obstacle courses to participating in friendly competitions, participants will apply their engineering and programming skills in a fun and supportive environment. 4. Team Robotics Projects: Participants will foster teamwork and collaboration by working on collaborative robotics projects. Participants will collaborate on group challenges, share ideas, and collectively design and program complex LEGO robotic systems. 5. Robot Showcase: Students will conclude the program with a showcase where they proudly present their robots and coding to friends and family. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to email@example.com or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
