About this Program

Participants will capture the world through a lens and dive into the art of digital photography with "Picture Perfect - Digital Photography with Raspberry Pi." This will be an exciting experience that combines creativity, technology, and the power of Raspberry Pi. Participants will learn the ins and outs of digital photography while exploring the limitless possibilities of this innovative miniature computer. Program Highlights: 1. Raspberry Pi Basics: Participants will embark on an exploration of Raspberry Pi, a versatile and compact computer, learn the fundamentals of its operation, and discover how it can be harnessed to enhance digital photography skills. 2. Photography Essentials: Participants will master the essential principles of photography, from understanding lighting and composition to framing the perfect shot. Participants will develop a keen eye for capturing visually stunning images. 3. Raspberry Pi Camera Module: Unleash the potential of the Raspberry Pi Camera Module, a powerful tool that opens up new dimensions in digital photography. Participants will use this module to capture high-quality images and experiment with various settings. 4. Coding for Creativity: Participants will integrate coding skills into photography by programming the Raspberry Pi to automate certain aspects of the photographic process. They will explore creative coding to add unique elements to your captured images. 5. Gallery Showcase: Concluding the program with an gallery showcase to show off photos, students will share how to use the Raspberry Pi Camera. PLEASE NOTE: The cost of this program is higher due to the materials. Students will take home the camera that they created during the program. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
