About this Program

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of robotics in "Rolling Innovations: Exploration of Sphero Robotics"! Participants will dive into hands-on activities, challenges, and creative projects centered around Sphero RVR robots, discovering the thrill of programming and controlling these dynamic robots. As young engineers, participants will unravel the principles of robotics, develop coding skills, and engage in collaborative problem-solving. Join us for an adventure that combines fun with technology, and the possibilities end only with your imagination!! Program Highlights: 1. Sphero Basics: Learn the fundamentals of using the Sphero RVR robots, from navigation to programming, in a beginner-friendly environment. 2. Creative Coding: Unleash creativity through coding challenges that empower participants to control and customize a Sphero RVR's behavior. 3. Team Challenges: Collaborate with others to tackle exciting team challenges, promoting problem-solving and teamwork skills. 4. Obstacle Courses: Design and navigate obstacle courses, putting a Sphero RVR to the test in an exciting and interactive way. 5. Project Showcase: Conclude the program by showcasing achievements in a project exhibition, demonstrating newfound skills and innovations to family and friends. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
