About this Program

Embark on a coding adventure like never before with "Junior Coding Crafters: Minecraft Coding Quest," a summer experience designed for young tech enthusiasts eager to unlock the secrets of coding within the immersive world of Minecraft. Join us for a transformative experience where participants will not only explore the vast landscapes of Minecraft but also learn the language of coding to modify and create their own in-game wonders. Program Highlights: 1. Introduction to Coding: Dive into the fundamentals of coding with an emphasis on practical application within Minecraft. Participants will be introduced to coding concepts through user-friendly languages, empowering them to control and modify their Minecraft worlds. 2. Creative Coding Challenges: Engage in a series of creative coding challenges designed to enhance problem-solving skills and unleash creativity. Participants will tackle tasks that encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and the application of coding principles. 3. Team Coding Quests: Collaborate with fellow Coding Crafters on team coding quests. Participants will work together to overcome challenges, share coding insights, and collaboratively design and implement modifications within the Minecraft universe. 4. Coding Showcase: The experience will end with a showcase where participants proudly present their coding creations to friends and family. Witness the transformation of Minecraft worlds through the lens of coding mastery. PLEASE NOTE: Students will be using Minecraft Education Edition. Logins will be provided by PAST during programming along with all other components (computer, etc.) to participate. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
