About this Program

Join us and step into the world of technology and creativity with "Junior Microbots - Problem Solving with Ozobots," an exciting experience specially designed for young tech enthusiasts. Held at the PAST Innovation Lab, this hands-on experience introduces children to the fascinating realm of robotics and coding through the use of Ozobots. Program Highlights: 1. Ozobot Adventures: Dive into the Ozobot universe, where participants will engage in interactive adventures with these miniature robots. From navigating mazes to solving challenges, participants will witness the power of coding in action. 2. Creative Coding: Unleash creativity through coding tailored for young minds. Participants will learn basic programming concepts, create their own code sequences, and witness Ozobots bring their commands to life. 3. Problem-Solving Challenges: Develop critical thinking skills with problem-solving challenges. Participants will collaborate on tasks that encourage logical reasoning, strategic planning, and teamwork, fostering a positive and dynamic learning environment. 4. Robotics Exploration: Explore the fundamentals of robotics through hands-on activities. Participants will dissect simple robotics concepts, understand how sensors work, and gain insights into the exciting world of technology. 5. Innovative Project Showcase: The experience will culminate with an innovative project showcase. Participants will apply their newfound knowledge to create and present their Ozobot-coded projects, showcasing their problem-solving prowess. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
